I was born and raised in South St. Louis, attended St. Stephen’s Protomartyr Grade School and Notre Dame High School. I attended college at Meramec College with a Certificate in Women’s Career Development.
My husband Rick and I raised 7 children who are now adults raising their own families all in the St. Louis area. We have 9 grandchildren and 1 great grand child.
Growing up with my grandparents, Jennie (bee Ingoglia) from Palermo and Alessio Napoli from Castelvetrano, was a unique experience that deeply influenced my life in setting the foundation in raising my own family. Jennie brought the warmth and vibrancy of Palermo, sharing stories of bustling markets and delicious Sicilian cuisine. Alessio, with his tales of olive groves and ancient ruins, taught me the values of resilience and hard work.
Our home was a blend of Sicilian culture and new world experiences, filled with love and tradition. The lessons I learned from them—cherishing heritage, being resilient, and finding joy in simple things—have left an indelible mark on my life.
I joined the Sicilian Cultural Association in 2018 and served on the board for 2 consecutive years after sitting off the board of directors for 1 year I recently ran again in 2025 and am now serving the first of another 3 year term as a director.
I sincerely love this club and the people in it. It sounds and feels like home to me.
